A TAPAM Poetic Message to Africa

On Consciousness, Equality, and the End of Division”

Written by Antai Bazi

Africans,

Listen carefully to the lesson written across the pages of our history.

For as long as a philosophy exists anywhere in the world that declares one race superior and another inferior, peace will remain an illusion. Until such thinking is completely rejected and permanently abandoned in the minds of humanity, there will always be war—war in the mind, war in society, and war in ideology.

The greatest battles are not always fought with weapons. Many are fought quietly within the consciousness of people—through narratives that divide, beliefs that elevate some above others, and systems that normalize inequality.

Africa must understand this clearly.

No nation can truly know stability where some citizens are treated as first-class human beings while others are made to feel like second-class inhabitants of their own land. As long as dignity, opportunity, and recognition are distributed unequally among a people, the seeds of conflict will always exist beneath the surface of society.

Peace cannot grow where justice is selective.

And there is another truth Africa must confront.

Until the color of a man’s skin, the tribe he belongs to, or the religion he practices carries no more social importance than the color of his eyes or the depth of his mind, the continent will continue to experience conflict—tribally, religiously, and politically.

For when identity becomes a weapon rather than a cultural heritage, division becomes inevitable.

Africa has suffered too long from conflicts that were born not from natural differences, but from manipulated consciousness.

Tribal rivalries have been turned into political tools.

Religious differences have been turned into instruments of control.

And racial hierarchies have been used to shape the psychology of entire nations.

But the future of Africa cannot be built on inherited divisions.

It must be built on consciousness.

The consciousness that understands that no race is superior.

The consciousness that recognizes that no tribe is greater than another.

The consciousness that sees humanity before identity.

Until this level of awareness becomes the foundation of our politics, our institutions, and our social relations, the continent will continue to struggle with cycles of division and instability.

Africa does not need more conflict.

Africa needs awakening.

For the true war facing humanity is not only the war of armies and weapons. It is the war of ideas, the war of perception, and the war for the human mind.

When consciousness rises above division, peace will no longer be something we struggle to negotiate. It will become the natural condition of a united humanity.
