TAPAM CHYEF PUBLIC ADDRESS

A Traditional Knowledge Declaration of Conscious Liberation

By Bassey Emenyi

People of consciousness, أبناء of the soil, custodians of ancestral memory,

Hear this address in clarity, not in anger.
Receive it in wisdom, not in noise.
Understand it in consciousness, not in fear.

For 30 years, a generation has walked under a spiritual structure that promises heaven but manufactures suffering.
A belief system that speaks abundance, yet produces deprivation.
A doctrine that proclaims divine wealth, yet leaves human beings in poverty.
A theology that celebrates death ceremonies more than living dignity.

Imagine a child born into infinite wealth,
unable to access even the smallest coin for survival,
yet upon death, a million is released for burial rituals.

This is not divine order.
This is not sacred balance.
This is not spiritual justice.
This is ideological contradiction.

This is the same structure imposed on Africans:

A God said to own everything,
yet Africans own nothing.
A God said to be all-powerful,
yet Africans remain powerless.
A God said to be all-providing,
yet Africans remain dependent.

Hope is postponed.
Liberation is delayed.
Justice is spiritualized.
Human dignity is deferred.
Life is sacrificed for doctrine.

TAPAM CHYEF Traditional Knowledge teaches:

“Any spiritual system that cannot serve the living
cannot claim authority over life.”

We do not inherit suffering as destiny.
We do not inherit poverty as holiness.
We do not inherit weakness as virtue.
We do not inherit silence as obedience.

Ubuntu. Sankofa. Umoja.
I am because we are.
We return to retrieve what was stolen.
We rise in unity of consciousness.

This is not rebellion.
This is remembrance.
This is not rejection of spirit.
This is restoration of truth.
This is not hatred of God.
This is separation from manufactured divinity used as a control system.

TAPAM CHYEF Conscious Declaration

We choose life empowerment over death worship.
We choose present transformation over future illusion.
We choose consciousness over conditioning.
We choose dignity over dependency.
We choose identity over indoctrination.
We choose power over permission.

Four years ago, I disengaged —
Not in rebellion,
Not in anger,
Not in chaos,
But in clarity,
In consciousness,
In awakening.

Today, I stand not as a rebel —
But as a custodian of ancestral intelligence.
Not as a destroyer —
But as a restorer of indigenous sovereignty.
Not as a protester —
But as a guardian of African consciousness.

TAPAM CHYEF is not a movement of noise.
It is a movement of knowledge.
It is not a platform of emotion.
It is a platform of memory.
It is not a rebellion of anger.
It is a return to self.

This is Ubuntu — collective humanity.
This is Sankofa — ancestral retrieval.
This is Umoja — conscious unity.

This is TAPAM CHYEF traditional knowledge.
This is African spiritual sovereignty.
This is mental liberation.
This is ideological independence.
This is ancestral dignity restored.
This is present-life empowerment.
This is conscious civilization building.

Let it be spoken.
Let it be carried.
Let it be taught.
Let it be preserved.
Let it be lived.
